Tip for Yesterday and Today, 1/3 and 1/4

Sorry we missed yesterday… Michele didn’t have internet (I hope it’s not storming) and Lisa was busy with the family celebrating her son’s “5th” birthday!! So here is the tip for yesterday and today!! πŸ™‚ I found it on http://scrapbook.lifetips.com/ and thought it was a good one since many times it’s hard to crop a photo or to cut it up. But it’s good to remember that we don’t always need to include the whole photo in a LO. πŸ™‚

Scrapbook Techniques: Cropping Quickies

One of the most important scrapbooking techniques to remember is cropping your photos. When cropping photos, show only the most important parts of the picture. This makes the page more interesting and allows room to place more photos and for journaling. There are several different scrapbook techniques you can use for cropping photos. You can use scrapbook templates, you can try silhouetting, i.e. cutting around the main subject, or bumping part of the picture out beyond the β€œframe”. Feet, hands, hats, balloons, are ideal – you are limited only by your imagination.

One more day!! Tomorrow is our opening!! Michele will hopefully have connection to the internet as Lisa will be celebrating yet again with the family for her son’s birthday!! The extended family will be joining us tomorrow!! πŸ˜‰ She will definitely check in from time to time through the opening though!! So see you tomorrow from 12pm – 5pm CST!!

get your scrap on!
